Fettuccine with a Turkey Sage Cream Sauce

FETTUCCINE WITH A TURKEY SAGE CREAM SAUCE

INGREDIENTS:
Ground turkey or ground chicken (leaner than a ground pork or beef)
Cream (to be a little healthier you could sub part of the cream with chicken broth)
Pasta
Sage
Garlic
Salt & Pepper
Red Pepper Flakes
Parm on top

Sauté your ground turkey in garlic on high heat until its gets cooked on the outside. Make sure to break up your turkey first (doing your best to not over mix) or else it won’t cook as evenly as you’d like.

Add in your cream and chicken broth (if using) to your seared turkey. The chicken broth will be a little less thick so add slowly so it doesn’t become too soupy. Let thicken on low for about 10-15min.

Add in your cooked pasta and fold in sage and pepper flakes if you want some spice. Top with parm if you want and enjoy!
