Seared Steak and Blue Cheese Melts

SEARED STEAK AND BLUE CHEESE MELTS

INGREDIENTS:
Steak
Blue cheese crumbles
Bread

BONUS ADDS:
Sautéed onions
Red pepper flakes
Salt and pepp

If using, sauté sliced onion (I did a red onion but any onion will work) in a little olive oil for about 15min. Remove and put aside. In the same pan, sear your steak a few min per side (depending on how rare you like your steak) and cut into strips. I would suggest getting a decently fatty steak because it will cook better and you can always cut the fat off at the end when you’re slicing for the sandwich.
Broil your bread with the blue cheese crumbles on high for 5-7 min. Add steak and onions, salt pepper and any other seasoning. Enjoy!!
