TOASTED OVERSTUFFED PEPPER MELTS
INGREDIENTS:
Mozz
Peppers (the more color the better)
Sausage
Bread
BONUS ADDS:
Onions
Pepper flakes
Salt and pepper
The veggies: saute in a pan with a little oil, salt and pepper until they reduce in size and start to become soft.
The sausage: Add 1 inch of water to a pan and bring to a boil. Add your sausage turning once in awhile to get inside cooked through (about 10-12 min). Then toss in a hot pan for 1-2 to get the outside nice and brown. Doing it with boiling water first is super helpful in not making your kitchen smokey.
The rest: slice your bread and broil with mozz for about 3-5min. Add your veggies and sausage and you’re done!
